Mercy Worldwide, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing aid to disaster-stricken communities, is hosting a donation drive to support the 150 Havasupai families who have been displaced by a devastating wildfire that recently tore through their community.

Urgent Need for Essential Items

The wildfire, which broke out on June 24th, has destroyed 40 homes and left hundreds of people without shelter, food, or essential supplies. Mercy Worldwide is urgently requesting donations of the following items:

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Bottled water
  • Clothing (all sizes)
  • Hygiene products
  • First aid kits
  • Diapers and wipes
  • Pet supplies

Donations can be dropped off at any of the following locations:

  • Mercy Worldwide Headquarters in San Diego, California
  • Local churches and community centers
  • Drop-off bins located throughout the Havasupai Reservation

Community Support and Resilience

The Havasupai community has come together in the face of this tragedy, and Mercy Worldwide is working closely with local leaders to ensure that aid is distributed efficiently. The organization is also providing counseling and emotional support to families who have lost everything.

Mercy Worldwide is grateful for the outpouring of support from the community and encourages everyone to contribute to the donation drive. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of these displaced families.
