Bayern Munich have won the 2012/13 DFB-Pokal after defeating VfB Stuttgart 3-2 in the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. The victory gives Bayern their 16th DFB-Pokal title, extending their record as the most successful club in the competition's history.
Robert Lewandowski was the hero for Bayern, scoring three goals in the match. The Polish striker opened the scoring in the 10th minute, before Stuttgart equalised through Martin Harnik in the 25th minute. Lewandowski restored Bayern's lead in the 37th minute, but Stuttgart again equalised through Ibrahima Traore in the 57th minute.
Lewandowski scored his third goal of the match in the 68th minute to give Bayern the lead for good. Stuttgart pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages, but Bayern held on to secure the victory.
